Terms of sale

Before anything else
These terms are what you agree to when you buy Secure AI Kit. They were published before the first sale, on purpose: they are part of what you should be able to read before you decide, not after. Nothing here has changed since then except to say that the sale is now open.
This is a draft written to be clear and standard. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer, and it is not legal advice.
Who you are buying from
The product is made and supported by Sergio Belmonte Morales, NIF 53911974C, Calle Sevilla, 9, 14640, Villa del Río, Córdoba. Contact: info@secureaikit.com.
The payment itself is handled by Paddle, which acts as the merchant of record. That means Paddle is the seller on the invoice, charges you, handles VAT and sales tax, and is who your bank statement will name. Which Paddle entity depends on where you buy: Paddle.com Market Limited (England and Wales, company number 8172165, 30 Old Bailey, London EC4M 7AU) for most of the world, Paddle.com Inc. in the United States, or Paddle.com (Canada) Ltd. in Canada.
In practice: your contract for the payment is with Paddle, and your licence to use the kit is with Sergio Belmonte Morales. Paddle's own buyer terms apply to the transaction alongside these.
What you are buying
Access to a private git repository containing the kit, as a one-time purchase. Not a subscription, not a seat, not a per-token fee.
Two licences, at the prices shown on the pricing page at the time you buy:
- Personal: one developer, and as many projects as you like that you own and operate.
- Commercial: your whole organisation, and work you build and deliver for clients.
- A Personal licensee may move to Commercial at any time by paying the upgrade price in force when the upgrade is bought. It is not a button on the pricing page yet: you ask for it by email and we send you the link.
Price and tax
Prices are shown before VAT. Your country's rate is added at checkout by Paddle, who is responsible for collecting and remitting it, and the invoice comes from them.
Delivery
You are asked for your GitHub username at checkout. When the payment completes, that account is invited to the private repository as a read collaborator. It normally happens within seconds. The invitation still has to be accepted: GitHub emails it to the address on your GitHub account, and it also waits for you at github.com/notifications. It expires after seven days — we write to you before that happens, and if it lapses anyway, tell us and we send another. Your purchase does not expire with it.
If the invitation fails because the username was mistyped or the account does not exist, you get an email with a link to correct it, and access is granted as soon as you do. If nothing arrives, write to info@secureaikit.com — the purchase is recorded and the access is owed either way.
A GitHub account is required. We cannot deliver the kit any other way.
Updates and how long access lasts
Updates are committed for twelve months from the first release. After that it depends on whether the product is still alive, and the site will say which.
Repository access is perpetual and the licence does not expire. You also keep the code independently of the repository: the delivery email carries a link to download an archive of the source, served from our own server, and every release notice carries a fresh one. Links last thirty days and only work while your purchase is active; if yours lapses, write to us and we send another. The archives stay on our server whatever happens to the repository, so if it is ever closed, that is where the final state is served from.
Support
Email, from one person, at info@secureaikit.com. There is no ticket system, no response-time commitment and no SLA. At this price and with one person, promising one would be a lie.
What you may and may not do
Both licences let you read, modify and ship the code inside your own product, and pull the updates published to the repository.
Neither licence lets you resell, republish or repackage the kit itself as a competing starter kit, or share the source outside the scope of the licence you bought. The full licence text ships with the repository and is the document that governs this.
No warranty
The kit is provided as is. It is a starter kit for a security-sensitive problem, and the limits declared on the site — including what it explicitly does not stop — are part of the deal, not fine print. It does not make your system secure, and it does not make you compliant with anything.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and nothing here removes the rights a consumer has under the law of their own country.
Refunds
Fourteen days, no reason needed. The refund policy is a separate page because it deserves to be read on its own.
Changes to these terms
These terms can change, and the date at the top says when they last did. A change never applies backwards: what you bought is governed by the terms that were published when you bought it. Every version stays published at its own dated address, and your delivery email links the one that applies to your purchase.
Law and disputes
The licence is governed by the law of Spain and its courts, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live.
